Advertising is one of the most effective ways to sell products, nowadays companies spend more and more money on advertising. The advertisements we see on TV and the Internet trigger and increase in consumption. Unfortunately, this can lead to overconsumption and eating disorders among both teenagers and children.To begin with, one of the most significant effects of advertising on children is overconsumption. Unfortunately, one of the reasons why many families suffer from financial problems is overconsumption. Parents who want to make their children happy try to provide them with everything they want. Many teenagers are addicted to brands such as Nike, Apple, and so on due to good commercials, so these teenagers always want to buy newer versions of these products. Sadly, it might be difficult for some parents to meet their children’s demands. All in all, overconsumption may result in not only economic problems but also dissatisfaction. In brief, commercials negatively influence children and teenagers.Another unfavorable impact of advertising is eating disorders. Particularly, fast-food commercials contribute to poor eating habits, which lead to disorders like obesity among children and even teenagers. Although teenagers are obsessive about their looks, they generally prefer eating fast food on account of effective advertisements, availability and affordability. Unfortunately, obesity cannot be treated easily. Furthermore, it causes low self-esteem among teenagers and it becomes an enormous obstacle to leading a healthy life. Shortly, it is obvious that there is a strong correlation between advertisements and eating disorders.To sum up, advertisements have many negative influences such as overconsumption and eating disorders. While overconsumption causes a burden for the family budget, eating disorders bring about a low quality of life.

It is an undeniable fact that the world is changing has been in many ways especially over the last two decades. The traditional roles in society were affected by this change to a great extent. Men and women have undertaken new roles both at home and in the work place. Women started working outside the home more than they used to and men began equally sharing responsibilities at home. The lately, traditional roles of men and women have considerably changed at home as well as in the business world.

Family life is different in many aspects when compared to the past and the most significant aspect is a change in responsibilities. Traditionally the mother only worked at home and the father worked at a job. Nowadays, however these roles are changing. Now both parents are considered equal and each one is able to provide for their family. In brief, the roles of family members have changed in terms of responsibilities.

Another place where roles have changed in society is in the business world. In the past, women were not expected to get a job and earn money. Whereas, nowadays more women have a job also they are able to become a manager or a director. As a result, the roles in the business world have undergone major changes.

To sum up, in recent years it seems that the traditional roles in society have changed, dramatically, both at home and in the work place. Society began accepting the idea of women working in order to earn a living and men assuming more responsibilities at home.
